This researcher will assess social media exposure and triggering risk factors for first responders. With research funds drying up or being taken back, our lab had to get creative to keep our research going. The ultimate goal is $12000.00 so, any and all small donatios will help with our important work! Our work will explore the risks of casual violent scenes in social media for our first responders who have experienced prior traumatic exposure.

First responders have often experienced traumatic exposure in their typical work environments. This researcher will evaluate how those first responders and first responder college students react to violence in typical social media use. Common social media images found in current events will be evaluated with the responders' physiological responses.
