We are a group of University of Miami student filmmakers producing a TV pilot episode to be shot between Miami and Shanghai. Using the work of previous UM students who remotely produced a short film in China, our goal is to build on what they have done and expand the concept of US/China production.
The pilot will be shot in collaboration between two different film crews, one in America and one in China, with the support of the University of Miami and Fudan University on each respective side. As filmmakers, our goal is to tell a meaningful, globe-encompassing story that will push the boundaries of remote film productions and that will resonate with people of all places.
