The little things that we take for granted in North America like owning a pencil, or having enough food to have breakfast in the morning before school are privileges that many children in the Caribbean don't have.
I am a strong believer than when you equip children with the necessary tools that they'll need to learn, we take part in making a brighter future for each of them.
My late grandmother Maud Taylor started this amazing initiative almost 20 years ago, by randomly choosing a school every year, and through the help of volunteers, made a home cooked meal for every student. 6 years ago I joined forces with her, to not only provide students with a hot meal, but also give them their very own school supplies.
But we need your help. This initiative is only possible because of your generosity. Your donation will go towards buying school supplies for every student, shipping costs, and food. This event is run solely by volunteers.
Every dollar counts. Please donate if you can.
It really takes a village to raise a child....and I'd like to thank you in advance for being a part of my village.
