Hi, our names are Amy Matthews and Siubhán O'Donnell.

We are currently second year paediatric nursing students in DCU. We both have a deep passion for paediatric care and global health. We have been selected to go on an international program in May and June of 2025 to two paediatric oncology wards in Muhimbili National Hospital in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. This is an incredible opportunity and will allow us to gain invaluable hands-on experience while providing care to young cancer patients in need.

As student nurses, this experience will help us grow both personally and professionally, giving us skills and insights needed to become compassionate global healthcare providers. It is such an amazing opportunity and we are so excited and grateful to have been selected.

However, the costs of flights, accommodation, vaccines, visas and other essential expenses are very costly. Any funds raised will go towards covering these costs.
