Help Student Get Her Life Back After Seizure

Our friend Aron is in the hospital after suffering a seizure on Sunday. On top of being hospitalized, she had already mentioned stressors from being in debt from tuition, and the hospital bills are unaffordable for her at this time. As a single unemployed student, most everything is unaffordable. It would be a shame for this dedicated student to lose the opportunity to continue their education as a result of this medical and psychiatric emergency. 

In addition to being a good student, this hardworking person was in the process of applying for a job, and now that she’s in the hospital she won’t be able to have the interview. It was so scary for Aron to go through this experience alone without any support from their parents. Aron is a first-year, new on-campus, and just beginning her education journey, and to have this setback so early would be detrimental to her progress. As a disabled student, it is hard enough navigating the realms of adulthood, let alone doing so without much guidance. 

The funds raised from this will cover the ambulance and hospital bills which are around $3000 and next quarter’s tuition is an additional few thousand. 

As friends of Aron, we’re all rooting for her quick recovery but at this point, it’s not certain how long it will take and the uncertainty only adds to their distress. Think back to when you were 18 on your own at college without any family to support you.  

Aron is devastated by the thought of being unable to complete their biggest goal on her own, which was to enjoy and graduate college, and to succeed there. 

Anything helps, truly. If everyone that saw this could donate just a dollar, Aron could be in a better place in no time at all. She is very grateful for all that support her at this time.
