Hi everyone!

I had to rush my family's kitty to the emergency vet this morning due to a urinary blockage. While the vets gave him pain meds, antibiotics, and drained his bladder, they told me he needed to see another vet in the morning and possibly surgery, and my family simply does not have the funds to pay for his surgery. (We're 5 people living on $35,000 a year and had our financial aid taken from us in November.) The Oregon Humane Society is at full capacity ; otherwise, we would bring him there for surrender or help. We lost his brother last year to something very similar. We were very lucky to catch it early enough to be able to take Stubby to the vet. He's the pillar of our household and very healthy besides this.
