Hello, we are Suzanne Nosko and Patrick Gross, students and devoted assistants of Stuart Alve Olson. We are launching this fundraiser on his behalf to support him in his battle against cancer.

Stuart is the protégé and adopted son of the renowned Taoist Master T. T. Liang (1900–2002) and the author of over 40 books on Taoist philosophy, Tai Chi, meditation, Internal Alchemy, and Qigong. As the founder of the Sanctuary of Tao, a non-profit dedicated to preserving, transmitting and sharing these ancient teachings and practices, Stuart has devoted his life to guiding others on their spiritual journeys.

In December 2024, Stuart was diagnosed with aggressive Urothelial Cell Cancer and has been undergoing intensive treatment. While he is making progress, the financial burden of medical expenses has become overwhelming.

We are reaching out for support to ensure Stuart can continue his treatment and remain with us—his students, friends, and all who cherish his wisdom and kindness. Stuart is not only an incredible teacher but also a profoundly compassionate and humble human being who has touched the lives of many.
