Dear Friends, Family and Colleagues
I am reaching out to you to ask for your support for my beloved brother, Stuart Olley, who is bravely battling glioblastoma, a type of aggressive brain cancer.
Stuart's journey began with a diagnosis June 14,2024 that turned his world upside down. Despite the challenges, he has faced this battle with incredible courage and determination. He had a craniotomy frontal lobe operation on June 27'th (8 hr surgery) and then commenced chemotherapy and radiation a short two weeks later. Stuart is currently undergoing immunotherapy to aide with his ongoing chemotherapy, which come with their own set of difficulties, including hair loss, fatigue, and a weakened immune system. Yet, Stuart remains hopeful and committed to fighting this disease.
Throughout this journey, Stuart has been supported by his wife Sarah, who married Sept 7,2024, and his loving family and friends. Their unwavering support has been a beacon of strength for him, helping Stuart navigate the emotional and physical toll of his treatments.
I am setting up this Go Fund Me page to help cover the mounting medical expenses and to provide my little brother the best possible care. Due to Stuart's battle against his brain cancer he has had to cut back on work in order to attend his 4-5 day a week treatments. Unfortunately due to a seizure that occurred after his surgery, he's no longer able to drive for the next 6 months making his challenging battle that much more difficult. Your generous contributions will go towards his immunotherapy treatments, medications and any additional support he may need during this difficult time. Medical expenses could easily reach in excess of $125,000 over the next 12 months and the reason I'm asking for your support. If your unable to support financially that's okay, my ask is you spend a few moments to share our story with your family and friends.
Thank you for whatever help you might be able to provide Stuart as he takes this fight for his life head on. Any help you can provide will make a difference.
Thank you,
Craig
