Hello, my name is Robert and I am asking you to help save my father's life. Stuart has been in the ICU for the last eight days, following the removal of two brain tumors. Luckily they were able to get 100% of the smaller tumor removed. The larger tumor was the size of a golf ball, and even though that one was hardened and fibrous, the doctors were able to get it 73% removed. Unfortunately, after surgery, Stuart had complications including seizures, trouble breathing on his own, and pneumonia.
Over the two months before his surgery, Stuart was not able to work, and not allowed to drive. The doctors are saying that once he is out of the ICU, he will need 6 to 12 more months of no working or driving. He will also be receiving radiation therapy and many MRIs in the near future.
I'm reaching out to ask for your help. Please consider a donation of any size to help Stuart cover basic living expenses and his portion of current and future medical costs.
While Stuart focuses his energy on recovering, I've stepped in and created this page to help bring Patti (Stuart's wife) some relief from the financial pressures they're facing from the medical expenses—his surgery, long stay in the ICU, radiation therapy, co-pays for medicines (including to prevent seizures), and medical insurance premiums and deductibles.
Please help give Stuart a second chance at life so he can live out his days by his wife's side, in their house and on their terms. Your kindness and generosity will contribute to the life of a wonderful man, who spent his youth working and raising a family, who brought smiles to the faces of all he came across.
On behalf of Stuart and our whole family, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
