Hey y'all! My name is Jhai, and for those who know me from tiktok and Instagram, I go by artofjhai. I'm a small-time artist and freelance worker, and I am in serious need of help. I was looking to move into a new place along with my partner and a roommate by September 1st, but things are looking rough as my partner and I have become recently unemployed this month and jobs have been taking their sweet time getting back to us to secure new positions. And to top it all off, we now have to worry about paying for car repairs so we can even move our things at all. As you might imagine, this puts us in a tough situation with trying to find housing. and with my partner and future roommate both having disabilities, finding accessible housing has been even more of a struggle. I am hoping our story can reach as many people as possible for help to secure enough funds to move out. And I am hoping that things can be stable enough soon for us to secure new work. It would mean the world to me to be able to make art again without the fear of not knowing where we might live next.
