Help Strudel Walk Again

Strudel is our family's 6 yr old miniature dachshund. Recently he managed to herniate some discs in his back and is in a lot of pain because of it.  We have tried all sorts of medications, cage rest, laser treatments but nothing seems to be working. It's been absolutely heartbreaking to watch him struggle and spend his days laying around either in a state of extreme pain or "out of it" because of the strong medication regiment.
Doctors can fix him by operating on his back and he can be completly restored to his happy, very active, fulfilling life.   Strudel loves giving kisses and currently he's not giving kisses because he is so sad.  Strudel brings the "sunshine" to our family and we would do anything to help him get better, but this surgery is very costly and would be a huge financial stress for our family.   We would be SO grateful to anyone who can donate any amount and whenever it becomes possible we will do everything we can to pay it forward.
