Hi everyone,

My name is Nathalie, and I’m fundraising for my mom, Delfina, who is currently in the hospital recovering from surgery after being diagnosed with colon cancer.

She recently underwent major surgery to remove her cancer, and right now she’s still in the hospital. Her recovery has been extremely difficult — she’s in a lot of pain and cannot do many of her daily life activities as little as getting out of bed or eating on her own. In addition to her recovery, as the days go and we believe she gets better, something new comes up causing her more pain and struggles.

Once she’s stable enough to leave the hospital, she’ll still have a long road ahead. She’s expected to undergo chemotherapy, which will make it even harder for her to work or take care of herself for a while.

Because she’s always been our sole income provider, this situation has left us struggling to cover rent, groceries, utilities, and medical bills. We don’t like asking for help, but right now, we truly need it.
