On Valentine’s Day, Street Cart Bagels opened its doors to the community and the love was overwhelming. Lines out the door. Early sell-outs. The start of something truly special. It was the kind of opening every small business hopes for. A long-held dream was finally a reality.

Suddenly, everything changed.

The day after the grand opening, Street Cart Bagels was forced to close due to unexpected plumbing issues. The team regrouped, stayed positive, and opened even stronger.

But on March 3, a fire brought operations to another abrupt stop. Thankfully, no one was injured, but yet again – not even a month after the grand opening – Street Cart Bagels is closed until further notice while they manage restorations and halted business operations.

For any small business, setbacks like these are emotionally and financially draining. For a brand-new business, they can be devastating.

But if those first few weeks proved anything, it’s that the community believes in Street Cart Bagels. That belief showed in every sold-out morning, every returning customer, and every smiling face walking out the door with a warm bagel in hand.
