Help street animals in Cambodia!
I arrived to Cambodia almost four years ago and seeing the situation of the animals living on the street here has been absolutely heartbreaking.
There are sick and homeless animals everywhere. Many kittens and puppies get dumped in the local Pagodas, some even when they are just a few days old.
The chance of them surviving is small, in part due to the lack of nutrition but also because of the many diseases that exist here in Cambodia. They also face the threat of being attacked by other animals and humans. The dog meat trade here is thriving and poses another very serious threat for dogs living on the street here. While less common, cats are eaten as well.
The animals here really need help.
I have rescued over 50 cats and 10 dogs and so the food and medical costs really add up. I make sure that everybody gets the best nutritious food daily as well as making sure that everyone gets neutered, vaccinated, dewormed and gets medical treatment if they need it. The costs can be massive so I need your help!
So I am asking for help to raise money to help with some of the food costs and then get as many animals spayed and vaccinated as possible.
Even just $5 will help vaccinate a cat against rabies and a few dollars can help deworm a cat. I can buy a 20kg bag of cat biscuits for $31, one cat of cat food costs just $1.35 and I can buy 1kg of chicken for just $2. To vaccinate a cat costs $49 per cat and to fully vaccinate a dog costs $29.
Every little bit helps!
Thank you very, very much in advance to everybody who donates!
