We're a couple of people who live in Greece, Kefalonia, in different locations across the island. We independently started caring for several stray cat colonies—currently over 125 cats, and counting.
Every day we feed cats - 1 time per day. We feed them both wet and dry food, ensuring they have the nourishment they need to survive and thrive.
But food is only part of the picture. Stray cats often suffer from untreated injuries, infections, and preventable diseases. That's why we:
- Neuter/spay all cats in our care—and even many in neighboring areas—to reduce suffering and overpopulation.
- Provide spot-on/tablets treatments for parasites and fleas.
- Cover medical care, including surgeries like eye removals, dental procedures, and wound treatments when necessary.
- Rescue abandoned and dumped cats—many of them tiny, sick kittens who wouldn’t survive alone. We raise them, treat them, and do our best to find them loving homes.
To support this work, we personally purchased:
- Numerous holding cages, cat traps, cat beds, litter boxes
- Transport crates, blankets, and disinfectants
- Medication and special dietary food.
All on our own, for years now, without outside funding, —until now.
Every cat matters to us. We know each one by face, many by name. We see their personalities shine through after weeks of patient care. But the costs are heavy, and we're currently funding everything out of my own pocket.
That’s why we started GoFundMe—to ask for your help in keeping this mission alive. Your donations will go toward:
- Daily food (wet & dry)
- Vet visits, surgeries, medications
- Emergency rescues and re-homing efforts
