Help Stray Puppies Fight Parvo Virus
Donation protected
Two months ago, a stray mother dog gave birth to five puppies in the fenced area outside our gate. We initially provided food and water while letting her care for them naturally. When the puppies were about a month old, one was tragically hit by a vehicle after wandering out. After this loss, we secured the enclosure with a gate that can be closed and took more responsibility for the remaining four puppies.
Recently, parvovirus struck our little group. Two puppies were diagnosed with the disease. Despite immediate veterinary care and hospitalization, one puppy passed away after his 2-day long battle with the virus at the vet's office. The other is currently recovering at home with ongoing medications. The remaining two puppies are now showing early signs of lethargy, likely indicating they may also have contracted parvovirus. We know we need to act quickly to get them proper medical care.
We've covered all veterinary bills so far, including hospitalization costs and medications. However, treating two more puppies for parvovirus, along with continuing care for the recovering puppy and basic needs for all three, is beyond our current budget. Your support will fund:
- Veterinary examinations and parvovirus testing
- IV fluids and medications if needed
- Antibiotics to prevent secondary infections
- Ongoing medical care during recovery
- Quality food and basic supplies
- Vaccinations after their recovery
These three puppies have been part of our daily routine for months. We're committed to their care, but we need community support to ensure they get the medical treatment that could save their lives. Any contribution helps us provide the medical care these puppies need. Thank you for considering supporting their recovery and giving them a chance at healthy lives.
This fundraiser is organized on behalf of my friend Rahul in Karachi, Pakistan, who is dedicated to caring for these puppies.
