This is Donald. A tiny, gentle kitten who has already survived more heartbreak in his five short months than most do in a lifetime.

Donald was born on the unforgiving streets of Dubai.

No mother, no siblings, no warmth, no name. Just a fragile little soul trying to stay alive in a city where thousands of stray cats roam unseen, unheard, and unloved. They are seen as pests and treated like vermin

One day, Donald appeared in a friend’s garden—crying out for help, skin and bone, fur falling out, his little body trembling. His eyes were full of desperation, but he was still hoping someone might care enough to stop. And someone did. ❤️ …. My incredible friend

She rushed him to the vet. He was diagnosed with a fungal infection ringworm, his little body was severely malnourished from raking in the bins looking for scraps to fill his empty rumbling belly , and he was heartbreakingly weak.

He stayed at the clinic for two weeks, receiving urgent treatment and care paid for by my wonderful friend . That was the first time in his life he felt safe.

He didn’t even have a name… until she gave him one: Donald

And despite all he’d been through, he purred. He cuddled. He trusted. He just wanted to be loved.

Now, Donald has been given a chance that every stray deserves—a forever home in Essex in London has been offered to him.

A warm, loving family is waiting to welcome him with open arms and her daughter, who has autism, is beyond excited xx

But to get there, he needs our help.

Flights from Dubai are extremely expensive, and there is no government shelter or support for animals in this wealthy country. Not one.

You see the streets are filled with suffering little souls, born on the streets, destined to life of cruelty and misery ….. and kind people like my friend do what they can—but they do it alone with their own limited funds

Right now, Donald is in paid foster care, which my friend is covering herself.

She’s just a kind-hearted woman who feeds and helps the little strays in her neighbourhood every day.

She couldn’t bear to see Donald back in her garden, mixing with the sick and injured strays who are everywhere—and risking his one chance at a new life.

She’s already paid for:

• His neutering

• Full vet treatment, including care for his infection

• His vaccinations

• And everything else to prepare him for travel

But she simply cannot afford to also cover his foster care and the expensive flight to the UK.
