Dear friends and community,

My name is Zachariah Abueg, and I would like to kindly ask for your community care and support for my beloved friend, Maya Roberts. Maya has been a longtime lover of animals, and in extraordinary kindness, she has loved and welcomed into her home 18 stray cats over the span of six years.

However, throughout all her years living in our neighborhood, the front office and many of her neighbors have only been hostile to her and the sweet little babies. The office has decided to end her lease this fall, and one of the cats desperately needs vet treatment. Between taking care of the cats and dealing with the hostile front office, she is spread very thin on money.

Your support will help Maya with the following:

Vet Bills: The most vital part of our request, as vet bills cost an arm and a leg – $2,000
Lawyer Costs: Helping her handle a hostile and negligent landlord – $1,000
Moving Costs: Covering application-related fees, food, and transportation – $1,000
Cat Food: Making sure all 18 cats are well-fed – $1,000
