Help Us Save Jack – A Stray Cat in Need

Meet Jack – a sweet, stray cat who’s been surviving on the streets and now desperately needs our help. Recently, Jack developed a large abscess on his head that has become badly infected. We took him to the vet, where he received a long-acting antibiotic injection and pain relief, but unfortunately, that’s all they could do.

Because Jack is a stray and the vet doesn’t have the capacity to keep him, he hasn’t been able to get the treatment he truly needs – the abscess must be opened and properly flushed to stop the infection and relieve his pain.

Local rescue centres are full and unable to take him in, so we’re doing everything we can ourselves. We're trying to raise money to:

Properly treat and flush Jack’s infected abscess

Neuter him to prevent future injuries from fights (which is how he got the abscess)

Get him microchipped and vaccinated

Run a full blood test to check for any transmissible illnesses in the hopes that we can find him a lovely home.

Jack is such a gentle, lovely boy who deserves a chance at a better life – one where he’s not in pain, not fighting to survive, and not living on the streets. We’d love to find him a safe, loving home, but first, we need to make sure he’s healthy and out of pain.
