Three weeks ago, a stray cat who we are now calling Boogie, was brought into our veterinary clinic in critical condition. He was bleeding from his nose and eyes, weak, and clearly had been through something terrible. We didn’t know if he would survive the night.
Despite everything he has been through, this little fighter has shown incredible strength. With supportive care and treatment,he has slowly started to improve. We have been feeding him through a feeding tube since he is unable to eat on his own. We have been medicating his eyes that have ulcers and clearly painful and may need to be removed. Every day he continues to show us that he wants to live.
However, we are still searching for answers. The trauma he experienced may have caused serious internal injuries that we cannot see with basic diagnostics. To truly understand what happened and give him the best chance at recovery, he needs a CT scan at a specialty veterinary hospital.
This scan will allow veterinarians to see the full extent of his injuries and determine the treatment he needs moving forward. Without it, we are left guessing—and we don’t want to risk missing something that could save his life.
As a stray, he has no owner to cover these medical costs. The staff at the veterinary clinic and I have been covering the cost of his care. We are asking for help from our community to give him the care he deserves. Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward his CT scan and continued medical treatment.
If you are unable to donate, sharing his story can make just as big of a difference. The more people who see his story, the better chance we have of getting him the help he needs.
Thank you for helping us give this brave little cat a chance to heal and finally experience the safe, loving life he deserves. ❤️
