A Fight Against Stage 4 Cancer

In the heart of our community stands a woman of resilience, a beacon of hope, a loving mother—Stormy, whose life is as powerful as her name. Recently, Stormy has been faced with a storm that tests the strength of her spirit: stage 4 colon cancer that has metastasized to the liver, lungs and bones. The doctors have given the grave news that the duration of the rest of her life will be spent on chemotherapy.

Stormy's luminous smile and unwavering positivity have never faltered, even as she bravely confronts the most brutal battle of her life. She's not only fighting for herself but as a single mother, for the bright future of her four beautiful children, who light up her world. But here's the heart-wrenching reality: Stormy is without the resources necessary to weather this storm. The cost of medical care has piled up like a mountain blocking her path, and the burden of treatment expenses is a weight too heavy to bear alone. Without access to life-saving treatment and with bills mounting, time is of the essence. She has given her all to her children—ages 12, 10, 9, and 2 with dreams as big as Stormy's heart. Now, more than ever, they need their mother. And Stormy needs us.
