My sweet puppy, Stormy, recently went through something no little one should ever have to face. She suddenly fell seriously ill, and after a heartbreaking emergency vet visit, we discovered she had a life-threatening hernia—her stomach had shifted into her chest, putting immense pressure on her lungs and heart.

She underwent major emergency surgery last night to save her life. It was a terrifying, emotional experience, and while we’re deeply relieved that she made it through the operation, her road to recovery is just beginning.

Stormy means everything to me—she’s not just a pet, she’s family. She’s been my comfort, my joy, my little shadow. Seeing her in pain and fighting for her life has been incredibly difficult, but I’m doing everything I can to help her heal.

Unfortunately, the surgery and intensive care have come with overwhelming medical costs. We’re facing a total of $15,733, and while it’s hard to ask for help, I know I can’t do this alone.
