Veteran’s PTSD Service Dog needs surgery

Most of you know Storm.

She’s had the opportunity to touch many people’s lives in the 9 years I’ve had her.

For those of you that don’t know, Storm is my 9-year-old Belgian Malinois, and is a PTSD service dog. She’s been the best dog I could have ever hoped for, and I know in my heart that I wouldn’t be here today if this dog hadn’t come into my life.

Tuesday, June 25, Storm was diagnosed with an oral tumor. It has rapidly caused swelling on her muzzle, gums, and upper palate.

Without treatment, this tumor will continue to grow and affect more and more of her body until eventually it will be too late to remove it. She can receive a surgery to have her tumor removed, but it is very expensive.
