With permission from Storm’s mom we are setting up a fundraiser to help Storm.
Hi, our names are Elisha, Shania and Samaria Kelley. We are close friends, much more like family towards Storm Piccirilli and his family. We’ve grown much closer with Storm and his family since the pandemic first started. With weekly visits and sleepovers etc. Storm is 14 years old and will be attending his first year at Waimea High School. He resides in Kalaheo, Kauai with his parents Sean and Sherelle Piccirilli and older brother Blade Piccirilli. Storm is a very happy, full of energy, outgoing, deeply in love with life and always up for anything.
On July 3, 2021 up in Kalaheo at the family pasture, the four of us were in an ATV accident and Storm was severely injured. He was transported by our local emergency medical response team to Wilcox Memorial Hospital Emergency Room, where later family and friends were informed of his condition. That afternoon Storm was medivacked to Kapiolani Women’s and Children’s Hospital where he is in the pediatric ICU, with his mom by his side. His Dad and brother flew up the next day.
Storm’s injuries were slight swelling and bleeding on the left side of his brain and multiple fractures of his neck. His Neurosurgeon mentioned that Storm is blessed to be alive and it was a miracle. Storm underwent surgery Sunday morning for almost 8 hours. No complications as we were told just more findings as the surgery procedure started.
Today is his first day of recovery and will be starting physical therapy. His parents will be by his side through out his stay.
If you can help donate, even a little bit the Piccirilli Family would be appreciative. The donations will help with his medical and travel expenses, Storm will be commuting back and forth for follow ups. If you are not able to donate at this time, please share this fundraiser so it can reach others as well. Thank you for all your prayer, continued prayers, and support for Storm.
The fundraiser page will be updated as he goes through his journey to recovery. His family expresses their gratitude for each and everyone of you sending thoughts and prayers during this time.
