Help Storm Overcome Her Health Battle

Hi there! My name is Ellice, first and for most thank you for taking the time to come here and see what’s going on with our pup. Storm is a 2.5 year old Great Dane/ Black Lab mix who is full of so much energy and such a sweet sweet girl, if you’ve ever met her you know she’s always such a hyper crazy girl always greeting you with a toy in her mouth! Unfortunately over the past weekend, my partner and I took Storm to get checked out since she hadn’t been acting herself , that’s when Storm was diagnosed with Immune Mediated Hemolytic Anemia (IMHA) which means her own immune system is destroying the red blood cells she’s producing which is causing her red blood cells to be at a low percentage, that then leads to her having an extremely high heart rate and also her not getting enough oxygen to certain parts of her body. So far storm has needed 3 blood transfusions but there’s no telling how much more she may need to get her bette. Each blood transfusion is a little over 2500 each one along with the hospitalization and everything, so please if you’ve made it this far thank you so much !
