Hello everyone thank you for looking into this, I am getting ketamine infusions starting May 26th for extreme depression, anxiety, and chronic pain. It is an experimental treatment that is used for treatment-resistant depression, severe anxiety and there's been a few people to find relief from chronic pain. any sort of funds would help due to it's not covered by insurance. Things got really bad in August of 2020, I started collapsing because I would get spikes of pain so bad it would just bring me to the ground, there would also be times I would be in so much pain I couldn't take more than half a breath. I started going to a pain clinic and they did trigger point injections, which as soon as they stuck the needle in my back I was screaming and crying,  they did not help for more than a few days, so not worth the pain they caused for minimal relief. They also tried to do x-ray guided injections in my neck with similar results except I passed out from the pain during the procedure and I couldn't walk the next day. the meds they had me on did not help physically and they gave me some pretty serious mental side effects. I was at work on February 23rd and I had collapsed and had some seizure behavior, so I haven't been back there since and the doctors are trying to figure it out, but during this time the pain has gotten to the point where I can barely move most days due to pain and I am doing acupuncture, physical therapy, neurofeedback, going to a concussion specialist next week to see what else I can do to help. These infusions could potentially help me get back to a place where I can manage the pain. All the things I'm doing already are helping, however, the pain is so severe it makes me want to give up on doing the things that are helping.  My goals are to get to a place where I can manage the pain I know it's going to be a battle and it's going to be a struggle, I plan on continuing acupuncture until I can get to a point in PT where I can stretch and work out and then continue to work out so I don't lose what was gained.
