Asking for help is so hard. I've started typing and then re-typing, erasing and re-thinking-getting nowhere fast.

In the song "Rest for Your Soul" by Austin French, there is a line that keeps playing in a loop in my mind:

"You were never meant to carry this weight alone.

You were never meant to carry it on your own."

This fundraiser could help me put down the weight and feel peace. I hope that in sharing this struggle, I can begin to see my way through this valley. I've been in it for so long. I have long-term plans in place, but it's the short-term that is so scary. I thought if one of my friends was feeling what I'm feeling, I would want to know. And it doesn't hurt to ask. I'm excited to think that once the boat stops rocking, I can pay it forward. I promise you that doing that is my goal, and hopefully it will be soon.
