Hi! My name is Grace, me and my mum are taking on the Yorkshire three peaks challenge on the 14th of November and I thought it would be a great chance to raise some money for an animal rights organisation.
I’ve chosen a specific case to do with animal testing.
In 2022, people from Animal Rising successfully entered Marshall BioResources Acres facility near Cambridge and rescued 23 beagle puppies from a life of torture in the animal testing industry.
Now, three years later, 20 people have been charged with the burglary of dogs from the facility, facing up to 10 years in prison if found guilty.
Every year, thousands of beagles are bred for one purpose… to be experimented on.
They’re chosen because they’re gentle, forgiving, and easy to handle, but that kindness is used against them. Many spend their entire lives in metal cages, never seeing sunlight or feeling grass, while toxic chemicals are forced down their throats or dripped into their eyes… all in the name of “research.”
Beagles are family dogs, loyal, loving, and trusting. They deserve cuddles and walks, not cages and pain.
There are modern, cruelty-free alternatives to animal testing that are more reliable for humans and don’t involve suffering. I’m raising money to help end beagle testing and support humane science that respects all life.
Please click this link and donate what you can so that animal rising can do everything they can to support this cause ❤️
