Our dear friend and legend, Stooks and friend Matt have recently lost their home and livelihood in a devastating fire. In February, his living space, workshop, and shed were destroyed, alongside critical infrastructure such as solar, water tanks, generators and appliances. The loss is extensive, estimated at over $150,000 including all of his personal belongings, professional work tools, surfboards and agricultural equipment.
Josh is known for his humble nature and has been hesitant to ask for assistance. However, those who know him understand the magnitude of this loss and his current need for support. The local community has already shown incredible generosity with cleanup assistance and tool loans, but there is still a long road ahead to restore basic amenities and rebuild his home.
Immediate priorities include:
•Establishing a new solar system capable of running essential appliances
•Rebuilding storage space to protect donated items
•Replacing critical tools needed for reconstruction
Any contribution, no matter the size, will help Josh rebuild from this devastating loss. If you're unable to donate, sharing this campaign with your friends and families would be greatly appreciated.
Stooks has impacted all our lives around the world, and we ask that you help get our friend back on his feet as soon as we can!
