Help Stonewalls Team Feed Hurricane Victims

Tim Heschke and Scott Garland own Stonewalls Restaurant and “What the Cluck” food truck in Banner Elk, NC. The restaurant is closed indefinitely because of the hurricane. My dear friend Amy Trzebiatowski is an integral part of this enterprise, having moved from Wisconsin to help the boys operate their businesses.

Every day from 3:30-5:00, they are offering FREE meals to the community from the food truck. They are doing this while boiling water to wash dishes and finding food supplies anywhere they can. They are operating on a crew of 4, including Tim, Scott, Amy, and her 9-year-old daughter Savannah. They are heartbroken over the devastation in the community, the loss of their businesses and income, and the despair around them. Even though they are exhausted, they push on to provide free meals every single day. They are exhausted and running out of resources.

Tim and Amy both left long careers in social work in Central Wisconsin for a new life in North Carolina. They were a beloved part of the Wausau and Central Wisconsin communities. Amy will receive and manage all funds to support their charitable efforts. Let’s support their endless work to help this devastated community!
