Hello, my name is Stitch. I am a 22 year old transgender woman in the United States. As many are aware, the state of this country continues to grow scary and I fear for my future. I've been officially transitioning since January 4th, 2021. Since I started HRT, I've grown to become someone I'm proud of and I'm so happy with the person I've become.

But now, I fear that I will lose the freedom and right to be who I am. My existence is under threat and I must take action to move somewhere safer. The danger worsens each day as attempts are made to suppress me and prevent me from accessing gender affirming care, stripping away my ability to speak, think, and live freely. For my own safety, I cannot disclose where I am moving to but know that it is as far as I can get from here. I need to get away from this so I can live on- if I stay here, eventually (and sooner than later), I will die.
