Hi friends,
Our sweet Stitch, who we just rescued this past Saturday, has tested positive for Parvo. This virus is extremely dangerous for puppies, especially for his breed, as it attacks their intestines and bone marrow.
Stitch has been in the hospital for the past four days fighting for his life. Today we got the heartbreaking news that his white blood cell count has dropped, and he now needs several more days of hospitalization and a blood transfusion to have a real chance at recovery.
The cost of his care has quickly added up. Between the constant monitoring, medications, and overnight stays, we’ve already spent far more than we expected and with the additional treatments and the blood transfusion, the bills are growing even higher. We are doing everything we can to give Stitch the care he needs.
Stitch came from the streets of Mexico and is only 3.5 months old. He’s been through so much already and he deserves the chance to grow up healthy and loved.
If you can donate anything at all to help us continue his treatment, it would mean the world to us. Every little bit helps. And even if you can’t contribute financially, sharing this page can help us reach others who might be able to.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, love, and support for our little fighter, Stitch.
