Three weeks ago, while working the front desk at Bodhi Salt Yoga Studio, I met a tiny stray kitten who needed help. My friend Juan heard his cries outside the studio, which is on a busy street, and brought him in. Juan had to leave for work, so I agreed to take the kitten in for the time being. Right away, I called my friend Erin, who took him in without hesitation. Erin made sure he got to his first vet appointment and set him up with his first litter box, food, deworming medication, and a heating pad. Thanks to their help, Stinky—named for his post-deworming aroma—quickly became part of our lives. Since then, I’ve been fostering him, making sure he’s safe, warm, and loved as he recovers and grows stronger.

Stinky is a curious, playful kitten who’s brought a lot of laughter into my home. He’s always exploring new corners of the guestroom and learning about the world around him. Watching him develop has been a joy, and his intelligence and energy are truly special. But caring for a stray kitten comes with many responsibilities and costs. Stinky needs several rounds of vaccinations, tests, flea and worm treatments, and regular vet visits to ensure he’s healthy. On top of medical care, there are daily expenses for food, litter, cleaning supplies, and keeping his environment safe and comfortable.

My hope is to see Stinky’s health continue to improve and, once he’s ready, to find him a loving family who will appreciate his playful spirit. Every contribution will help cover his medical needs and daily care, giving him the best chance at a happy, healthy future. Thank you for supporting Stinky’s journey from stray to beloved companion.
