Hi everyone!

Throughout my years of fostering kittens and puppies, I’ve faced many challenges (parvo, ringworm, fading neonates) But, the biggest challenge so far goes by the name of Sticky. I began fostering Sticky in June of 2022. He was riddled with scabies and needed bi-weekly lime-sulfur baths. His front-left leg was so severely broken that the only solution was amputation starting at his shoulder blade. And that’s not all, Sticky is blind! What’s absolutely incredible is that even after everything, Sticky continues to be a sweet kitty who loves to sunbathe and run around with the other fosters. While his scabies has been cured, and he has adjusted to life with three legs and no sight; Sticky still has one last thing stacked against him. Since June 2022, Sticky has had TEN seizures. Recently, they have been increasing in severity and frequency. What was once a monthly occurrence has now become weekly. We are fundraising for the medical costs of an MRI scan and neurologist visit, which will hopefully tell us the next steps to help him and put an end to these seizures. It was never my original plan to adopt Sticky but after extensive medical issues surfaced, it was the only way to officially have him seen by veterinary specialists. In the future, if I am fortunate to find someone who is capable of fully funding Sticky’s medical necessities and providing him with better care than I am able to, then I would transfer care to them. The most important thing to me is Sticky’s health and happiness.
