Meet Stevie — Our Brave Boxer cross

Stevie is 7 years old, full of love, and has the kind of wiggly bum that makes strangers smile. She’s been my loyal shadow through thick and thin, but right now, she needs our help.

In 2021, Stevie had TPLO surgery on her left leg after a cruciate ligament rupture. She recovered like a champ. But earlier this year, disaster struck again — she ruptured the ligament in her other leg.

We tried everything to avoid surgery: rest, medication, multiple vet visits. Sadly, nothing worked. The only way for Stevie to walk without pain is another TPLO surgery.

Why We Need Your Help
Stevie is insured, but because she’s already had this surgery on her other leg, the insurance won’t fully cover it this time. The total cost is over £1,500 out of pocket. Without it, she’ll be in constant pain and lose her ability to enjoy the walks, playtime, and zoomies she loves.

Stevie’s Legacy of Love and Life
Stevie isn’t just a beloved pet — she’s a lifesaver. She’s a registered blood donor who has donated 15 times, helping save the lives of up to 60 other dogs in emergency situations.

She’s also the ultimate big sister to the foster dogs we’ve welcomed into our home. Stevie has gently taught them how to play, how to relax, and how belly rubs and rolling in the grass are life’s greatest joys.

She’s been a healer, a teacher, and a friend to dogs who arrived scared and unsure. Now it’s her turn to be cared for.

How You Can Make a Difference
Every single donation — big or small — will go directly towards Stevie’s surgery, aftercare, and medication.

If you can’t donate, sharing Stevie’s story is just as powerful. The more people who see this, the faster we can get her back on her paws.

We’ll Keep You Updated
I’ll post regular updates with photos and videos of Stevie’s journey — from surgery day to her first pain‑free walk. You’ll be part of her recovery every step of the way.

From the Bottom of Our Hearts
Thank you for reading, sharing, and supporting Stevie. She’s more than just a dog — she’s a hero, a sister, and a soul who’s given so much to others. With your help, she’ll be back to chasing her pals about in no time.
