Help Stevie Raise Money For Daraja

In Kenya, girls living in poverty are much less likely to receive a secondary school education. Daraja means bridge. Education is the fastest bridge out of poverty. Daraja Academy was established in 2009 as an all-girls boarding school providing its students access to a first-rate education.  The  Kenya Ministry of Education currently ranks Daraja Academy in the top 10% of private secondary schools in the country.

My friends and I have been writing letters to some of the Daraja students, and they are absolutely remarkable. They are smart, ambitious, funny and interested in learning about the world around them. This summer my family and I will be visiting Daraja Academy. I want to help the school carry out their mission to give girls an opportunity to improve their lives.
