Stevie and Mabel Haas are two of the nicest people you will ever meet. The couple have two beautiful daughters, one son, and five grandchildren that they adore. The two own a biker bar in Kiln, Mississippi and are extremely involved in their community. If anyone in the needs help or financial aid, Stevie and Mabel are the first to organize fundraisers.

 

I [Bonita Favre] was a teacher and had never been in their bar until after I retired. When Brett Favre was with the Packers, people from Wisconsin would come down to the bar because they assumed it was his hangout, but he hadn’t been either even though he knew Haas'. The bar became famous, especially Super Bowl year. People from WI continue come.

 

Recently, Stevie began having trouble breathing and sought help at the local hospital but was sent home. The next day he went to a different hospital and was sent home on oxygen. Eventually the two had to call a mobile medic and he has been in the hospital ever since then (over a month). Stevie was diagnosed with COVID and double pneumonia. When he is released from the hospital, Stevie will have to partake in a fairly expensive rehab in order to regain the full ability of his lungs. Brett Favre, as well as the rest of the Favre family would like to see Stevie receive some aid for all the good he has done for so many others.
