Help Stevie The Service Dog Get Her Much-Needed Surgery

Hello friends and family!

I appreciate you taking the time to read this about what’s going on. Many of yall obviously know Stevie and most of her life story. For those that don’t, Stevie is my service dog of 7 years and has helped me through a lot but now she needs my help. I’m not sure how much I mentioned it when it happened but 4 years ago I had to take Stevie to the emergency vet because she hurt herself running the race track in our old back yard, well that resulted in a small tear in her ccl (it’s the dog equivalent of our acl) well at that point it wasn’t bad enough for surgery and the vets just recommended rest for about 2 months. Well last night Stevie got the zoomies and was running around the front yard and suddenly she yelped and wouldn’t put weight on her back leg and it just so happened to be that same back leg she previously injured 4 years ago. I called the vet immediately and had the appointment this morning and she has now completely torn her ccl and needs surgery to repair it. The vet I found is great and they are amazing with Stevie and this is the best course given her age, breed, and lifestyle. This would also help save her other one from potential injury. However, vet services require payment at the time of service and I can’t afford it so I’m asking for help to get my beloved baby her surgery so she can continue living her best life.
