Guys, we need your help! This is Stevie Ray and he needs both of his eyes removed.

A kind woman posted this kitty on Facebook a few days ago, a desperate plea for help to get this kitten to safety. This poor 6.5-week-old baby is the size of a 3-week-old kitten!

Jeanine B., who is the founder of Belly Rub N’ Grub, sprung into action and asked to take this baby into her care.

Upon picking him up from the finder, she took him home and attempted to clean him up. He was caked in crust and was hanging on by a string.

To Jeanine’s surprise, not one, but BOTH eyes do not look salvageable.

Stevie Ray was taken to Boulevard Veterinary Hospital in Lancaster, CA, and sadly, the vet confirmed both eyes cannot be saved.

Stevie will be getting both eyes removed and the estimated cost of the entire procedure is: $933.82 (see estimate attached).

Belly Rub N’ Grub 501c3 is a self-funded rescue but we cannot continue to help cats like Stevie Ray without YOUR HELP!

No amount is too small. Stevie is in a lot of pain and we just want to do what’s right and help him live a beautiful life!
