Before starting his medication, he lost the ability to walk, became incontinent, and lost half of his body weight. His sister, Kiwi, has been his constant companion, and their bond is heartwarming.

Thanks to the medication, Stevie has made significant progress. He has regained his ability to walk and has started to gain weight back. However, the treatment is expensive, and he needs to complete the full course to ensure his recovery. Without it, Stevie would regress rapidly and face a dire prognosis.
