Help Stevi Bischoff Heal & Thrive After LifeSaving Surgeries

Donation protected
UPDATE (JUNE 4th 2025): Stevi had surgery yesterday on the right side of her brain. She had an angiogram clipping on a fistula. We shaved her head the night before with her Mom and son, Lucas and it was a great experience prepping her for this. It looks amazing I must say. Everything went great. Stevi is so strong and like her Mom said she makes this look easy. She was in the ICU and just moved out this morning around 11:00am (day after surgery). She will start physical therapy today with her team. Her drain has been removed. The angiogram after the surgery showed normal flow again in the brain and all we can do is be grateful for Dr. Xu and his team. We are so lucky. She is so lucky. This will be a recovery and of course there will be another one but now we know what to expect. To see my babygirl smiling again, not in pain, having less anxiety and being able to tell she's thinking straight is the best feeling in the world. She looks beautiful with no hair. She rocks it well. I have stayed by her side this whole time. Thank God they haven't made me leave. She is eating great and just used the bathroom for the first time on her own just about an hour ago. She is needing some assistance but I may try to return to work tomorrow and see how she's doing. Thank you everyone for the positivity, prayers and donations. -Jeff

Hello, my name is Jeff Wittmyer. I don't talk or ask for much but I do have a favor. Prayers and positive encouragement and thoughts are needed as well please.

The love of my life, Stevi Bischoff had a seizure on June 22nd 2024. After that seizure, we as a family have followed up with many neurologist appointments and medications until we reached neurosurgery. It was a brain bleed. Stevi has two fistulas in her head, one on each side and their doing an aneurysm clipping on each after doing two angiograms the last couple of months and reviewing many images and her symptoms. Dr. Xu, John Hopkins top neurosurgeon informed us yesterday she will go under two craniotomy surgeries in the next few months. One is this June 3rd 2025, she will be in the hospital for about a week then in recovery for about 3-4 weeks. Two months later, she will go for the next one, another week in the hospital and 3-4 weeks recovery. In the next 4 months she will lose a little over two months of work and needs and requires that downtime. I will be working and taking off when needing to be by Stevi's side as much as I possibly as I can. The surgeries will include fixing the connections in her veins and arteries that are not connected correctly. They will be removing a part of her skull, he'll be able to see everything clearly to do the necessary cuts and connections and possibly replace the bone with bone cement.

Stevi was an addict in recovery. She fought the disease of addiction for over six years but has won that battle. Stevi is grateful for life everyday. She's grateful for her relationships with her children rebuilding, bills being paid, her relationship with her Mother is better than ever, getting up going to work Monday thru Thursday and relaxing at the end of her days and getting her boys every Friday. She's sad to miss out on work and fun things with the kids but grateful for these opportunities of surgery and another recovery in her life. She will come back from this stronger and more beautiful than ever. I watch Stevi everyday get up and still focus and bust her ass with migraines, eye sight issues, sensitivity to lights and sun, feeling like she's going to faint, exhaustion and just feeling defeated but still trucking on. I cannot wait to see her blossom after these surgeries without all of this pain and suffering so she can actually enjoy her sobriety, children, family and just everyday life. Stevi is amazing. She's funny and inspiring and motivating in so many ways. She's so generous and caring. She's very gentle and sweet and dedicated and she deserves as much peace through this as I can and anyone can really give her. I wish this wasn't happening of course but we are here and we will get through this. She's scared of course but we all know Stevi, she's positive and worried about everyone else instead of herself right now. This is all about getting her through this. Her health and her two children are her top priority these days and I am so proud of her. I have watched her go through but get through so much. One day this will all be history and your support will be apart of her story. Everything and everyone is greatly appreciated.

We have normal bills just like everyone else and if I can take the burden, pressure or stress off her at all I would love to with the help of anyone elses donations and support. I am trying to stay above water financially and focus completely on her needs and recovery. If anyone could help, your donations will go straight to her bills and Stevi's needs for this recovery. I want things to be as easy, comfortable and simple as they can be. Brain surgery is the hard part, let everything else just be and pray with us as she gets though this. Like Dr. Xu said, not having the surgeries is more scary then having them at this point because of the risks of developing an aneurysm, having another seizure and the worst a fatal brain bleed. There are no other options than getting her these surgeries. We will just have to adjust life and things as much as we can and hope for the best.

Thank you for your time and consideration. Pray for her and our family at this time please. If you see her give her a hug and prayer. I will post pictures and keep everyone updated on here throughout this process. Thank you again, have a blessed one.
