Help Steve beat his fight! Cancer sucks!

Steven Gary Peyton

My brother Steve was recently diagnosed with throat cancer. He was quickly taken into surgery where they removed a cancerous growth in his throat. During the procedure they found more cancer.

The doctors have determined a full recovery will require a course of 33 radiation treatments, over a five per week period to begin with. They are hopeful the radiation treatments will eliminate the throat cancer.

During the several week treatment period. Steve’s  health might hinder his ability to work just a bit.. They believe he will be weak, and feel ill for a period of time. The doctors have faith in the treatment plan as does Steve.

Steve is working in Mexico, with no medical coverage there. The cost of the treatments, medical procedures and medications is something no one ever plans on.

Steve is a proud person and has not and would not ask anyone for help. But he did say, “help is welcomed, but not asking”Yet he clearly needs help to make it through this event.

Steves work in Mexico is  where he trains workers to earn income by producing products for both Mexico and the United States. The arrangement is called a maquiladora. Raw materials are shipped there from the United States, from the raw materials they produce products which will return to the United States to be sold.

Steve enjoys training new skills to the workers, and helping in the operation of the company.

Steve has spent 40 years working in Mexico, without medical coverage there. Now in his hour of need, he needs our help to get through this life threatening event.

We, his family, have taken it upon ourselves to step in and help where we can, in any manner we can. First and foremost, Prayer for Steve and all the doctors and nurses helping him. Anything else that you can do would be greatly appreciated!!!! Steve has always been a giver. From childhood on he is known for always helping others. Giving and doing as much as he could and then some. Without exaggerating, Steve is the guy that would give you the shirt off his back in the middle of a snow storm. He has a large family and has always been there when needed, physically & financially. Now in his time of need he could use some help. Paying for his medical treatments and living expenses during this time. . If there is anything else that you can think of to help, you can contact us by leaving a message and we will get back to you right away. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts!
