On Thursday evening, March 5th, our dear friend Steventhen Holland suffered a sudden and unexpected stroke. His recovery journey is just beginning, and doctors are still determining the full extent of treatment and rehabilitation he may need.
Steventhen Holland has spent almost a decade traveling across the country sharing a message of hope, redemption, and the value of every human life.
His own life began in unimaginable circumstances. Steventhen is the result of the gang rape of an eighteen-year-old mentally challenged young woman. Despite immense pressure from society for his mother to abort him, she chose life. Unable to care for him due to homelessness and her intellectual disabilities, Steventhen entered the foster care system and was later adopted. He would not meet his birth mother again for more than twenty-seven years.
Out of that broken beginning, Steventhen built a life dedicated to encouraging others. As the founder of founder of Broken Not Dead Ministries, an author, recording artist, worship leader, and national pro-life speaker, Steventhen has inspired thousands with a simple message: your story is not over, and hope is found in Jesus Christ.
Steven’s speaking ministry has also been their primary source of income, so this sudden health crisis brings both medical and financial uncertainty.
Steventhen and his wife, Rachel, are raising their three daughters — Isabella, Eliana, and Kadence — and currently do not have health insurance. The medical bills, recovery expenses, and loss of speaking income will quickly become overwhelming.
We are raising funds to help cover:
• Emergency medical care
• Hospital and rehabilitation expenses
• Family living expenses during recovery
• Support for Rachel and their three daughters
Steventhen has spent his life pouring hope into others. Now we have the opportunity to surround his family with the same love and support he has shown so many.
If you are able, please consider giving. Most importantly, please pray for Steventhen’s healing, for wisdom for the medical team, and for strength and peace for Rachel and their girls during this difficult time.
Thank you for standing with the Holland family.
