With Steven he never thought he had a problem but he liked to drink and after so much or types of alcohol it caused him to become irritated or question reality around him he wouldn’t know what was really happening he would think an entirely different situation, he could not see or understand when we tried to explain his reaction to a lot of things, And he is a great guy always pulled everything he could to help someone else in any sort of need but he could not see or recognize his own needs . He has a lot of friends he lives to lift his people high when they needed . On Aug 23, 2025 Steven was drinking in his mind the conversation he was having at home with his fiancé an another individual wasn’t how he was taking it in his mind jumped to different scenarios, he actually could not get reality to self check ! Certain alcohol would also cause this . An in the blink of an eye he had his weapon out an instantly tried to take his life his by this time the friend had left trying to severe any added emotional distress, his gf was trying to help him explain to him as his mind is playing these tricks no concept tho he wasn’t in a good space she was trying to pull the barrel of the gun from his face as best she could without harm coming to her he fired the gun off an luckily it didn’t take a lethal path it did do damage he still couldn’t really process what he had done . She knew it was bad an she needed help she was already on phone to 911 after he shot . It was in this second or minutes after things started to set in the level of what he had done , he has never been suicidal it wasn’t something anyone thought of him ever doing we all knew he had hard core drinking related emotions. The days following as he is kept sedated in ICU the level of what he tried to do an damage he done set in . Not only for him to see but him to see in all of us , he had so many friends come an so many family members work family. He has worked as a Lineman for a long time an he has been a foreman for a good while now , He has the biggest giving heart ! He knows the vast destruction he did to himself but even more he instantly knew he regretted having done such a horrible thing. It scared him about his gf having been there up close trying to protect him thank goodness she is a very strong girl who is also a linewoman ! He has been able to recognize what triggered this . He understands what we had been trying to explain it had to come as a very hard lesson . He does have health Insurance and they have already covered over 300,000 plus in medical but dental works in a different way . Well that’s what he has been told by more than one office . But we need to raise the money to help him get to this much needed surgery he completely understands he made some awful decisions that night , he also never felt he would or could have gotten to that place but he did an he lived to talk about it . There is a lot he has done since to get himself on much better ways in his life ! One is he kept up with the fire department an did training an is continuing to train to run more level of calls he wants to help others in their moment of need . He has a new perspective on life these days he is grateful an full of gratitude! Please consider helping us get himself to this surgery for his palate an implants because of the damage the bullet did an the massive loss inside his mouth he needs more in depth surgery so he can eat .
