Help Steven Serr Pay Medical Bills

Hi my name is Sandy Lawson, and with Carly Baker, Sarah Sigafoose and Justine Rancapan, we are reaching out to help Steve Serr while he is recovering from a stroke that happened in early November. Steve is only 32 years old and grew up in Wanaque. He had the first stroke on November 8th, something that he and his girlfriend thought could maybe be a bad case of vertigo. Or a possible concussion from a few falls that he had because of that 'vertigo', which ended up not being vertigo at all.

He went to the ER and was then transferred to a hospital with a neuroscience center. He was moved out of ICU on November 11th. He was moved from the ICU and monitored there in the hospital until he was ready to be transferred to a Rehab facility on November 21st. Steve went back in the hospital on December 1st with internal bleeding in his leg, which set him back with his progress of almost being ready to walk freely finally after almost a month. He was able to return home from his extended hospital stay late on December 15th. A little more than 5 weeks away from home.

It is so wonderful that he can finally be home with his two dogs who he missed very much and that he has recovered a good amount since he suffered from his strokes. But, he will still need to continue to do physical, occupational, and speech/cognitive therapies in a home care/outpatient setting, moving forward, for an unknown amount of time to work towards regaining the full use of his left side.

The cause of his stroke was something like a tear in his carotid artery, and that created blood clots, which traveled to his brain causing the stroke. In order to help take care of this problem, and make sure Steve heals properly, Steve will need to stop working, as he does physical labor. Thank you.
