My name is Steven Roberts. I have been out of work since 9/4/2025. I was admitted to hospital on 9/28/2025 due to a mass felt on my stomach that was confirmed cancer via CT scan. On 10/3 I had colon surgery and they removed 2 large tumors and a portion of my colon. I am home recovering with insurance ending Halloween and no money for cobra. I am asking for funds to cover cobra until disability kicks in which could be a while. I still need PET scan and will be starting chemo soon. I want to look for work but need to get my health better first. I’m 56 and it’s tough out there in the job market!
