Tonight, I ordered dinner for my family and watched as Steven, my Uber driver, arrived at my home. Through my cameras, I saw him walking so carefully and slowly up my driveway, using two walking sticks for support. He leaned against my door to gently set down the food, then made his way back to his much older car, which was clearly not in great shape. Witnessing this broke my heart. I’ve seen people in difficult situations before, but something about Steven’s determination and kindness really struck me. He reminded me so much of my own father, and I knew I had to step up and do something for him. No one should have to deliver food like this at his age, especially with mobility issues.

I want to raise funds to help Steven with anything and everything he needs, so he doesn’t have to keep working under such tough circumstances. Whether it’s for medical needs, a better car, or simply to make life a bit easier, I hope this support gives him the freedom to take care of himself.
