A few months ago, I started having serious acid issues and kept asking my doctors to check my gallbladder. Unfortunately, they didn't at first, and I ended up in the ER multiple times without answers. Each visit took a toll, and I exhausted all of my available time off from work just trying to get well. Eventually, I felt so sick that I had to go back to the ER, and that's when they finally discovered it was my gallbladder all along. I had surgery right away, and while I'm grateful to be on the mend, the recovery means I can't work for at least a month. My job is secure thanks to FMLA, but I won't have any income next month, which is a huge worry. I've already sold many of my tools to try to cover expenses, but it's just not enough. My biggest concern now is how I'll pay for basic bills like internet, car notes, and phone bills while I recover. I'm not allowed to lift anything over 20 pounds until after the 29th, so returning to work sooner isn't an option.
