On the morning of Friday the 13th, our dear friend Steven Snook’s hot dog cart was destroyed in a hit and run. As Steven was en route to his daily set up, a lady sped by, knocking the cart loose and sending it tumbling multiple times across traffic. Thankfully, no one was physically hurt in the incident, but the driver did not stop to offer help—she simply drove on, leaving Steven without his livelihood.
Steven is one of our town’s most adored food vendors. He had just barely made it through a very cold winter and was looking forward to his first big jobs of the season this weekend. Now, with his cart destroyed, he’s unable to continue his work and faces an uncertain future. This loss is not just about a cart—it’s about the heart and soul Steven brings to our community every day.
We’re raising funds to help Steven recover the amount it takes to get a new hot dog cart and supplies, cover his lost income, and set him up for success as he moves into 2026. Please help us make this right for Steven. Any support you can give will make a real difference and help him get back to doing what he loves—serving our community with a smile.
