My name is James Anaver. I'm setting up a GoFundMe for my brother Steven Anaver, who was recording the house float away while he was in it. He survived the horrific night while the house drifted away a mile from its location and feet away from the river where it could've ended up worse. He is now here with my parents in Bethel, but everything that was in the house we grew up in is totally gone. Pictures, clothes, belongings, his game systems, everything in the house that made it a home. A house that we came home to during the major holidays: Christmas, New Year's, Thanksgiving, etc. A house we all shared when we were home.

My brother Steven was known as Uncle to all related to him because he is a genuinely loving uncle to anyone. All four of my kids and my other brother's three kids call him whenever they want to get to his house to play games, play by his house, or just be in his absolute presence. We are all blessed to still have him today. All funds will go directly to my brother Steven and also help our mom and dad, who have built a home for us.
